HARWICH and Parkeston chairman Tony Armstrong has been approached by players keen to join the club next season.
But he admits there is no update in terms of his quest to find a new manager.
The Shrimpers are on the lookout for a new boss following Mark Sharp’s departure to take up a role within Ipswich Town’s Academy.
John Fidgett, who had been joint-boss, is thought to be willing to stay involved but does not want to run the team on his own.
“There’s not been any development on the manager-front, although I’m staying positive we’ll be able to sort something out,” said Armstrong.
“However, there has been a bit of interest in terms of players interested in joining us and helping our plight."
