SHRIMPERS player-manager Nicky Palmer was delighted to end his first season in charge with this victory.
It came after his team had been crowned division one champions.
The Shrimpers were in party mood for their last match of the season and, by half-time, led 6-1.
After the break, they relaxed and ten-man Villa proved they could score goals too.
However, the Shrimpers were always in control and took their tally of goals for the season to 123.
The Shrimpers’ scorers were Rory Harman (three), John Tiniakos (two), Charlie Pepperell (two), Shaun Kioussis (two), Rob Pratt and Mark Palmer.
Cartwright (three) and Adamson (two) replied for Villa.
