LITTLE OAKLEY joint-boss Paul Sadler wants his side to “set the record straight” against high-flying University of Essex.

The Acorns lost 5-1 in the reverse Essex and Suffolk Border League fixture, in early October.

Now Sadler hopes his players can gain revenge in tomorrow’s premier division meeting – and bounce back from last week’s disappointing 4-1 defeat at home to leaders West Bergholt.

“We still haven’t managed to take any points off the teams above us, but we’re hoping to put that right tomorrow,” said the Acorns joint-manager, who runs the side with Sean Tynan.

“We’ll also be looking to put the record straight, having lost 5-1 in our home game against the University."
