LITTLE Oakley lost ground on the leading sides in the Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division after they were held to a 1-1 draw by mid-table Tollesbury.
Oakley made the all-important breakthrough with 20 minutes to go.
Rory Harman played a delicate ball into the path of Mark Palmer who struck a low hard shot into the corner of the net, from an acute angle.
Tollesbury then had a ten-minute spell where they put the Oakley defence under pressure and an equaliser looked imminent.
Sure enough, after a catalogue of half-hearted challenges and Jamie Dobkin’s mis-judged through ball, the Tollesbury striker was able to slot past Good.
Little Oakley travel to play Tiptree Jobserve tomorrow, while the reserves entertain Holland FC Reserves, both games kick off at 2pm.
