BRANTHAM Athletic boss Paul Abrahams praised his players for a “vastly-improved” performance in their 2-1 success against Kirkley and Pakefield.

The Thurlow Nunn League premier division side got back to winning ways, after bitterly disappointing defeats against struggling pair FC Clacton and Diss.

Kieran Lawler and Jourdan Kiwomya scored their goals in a 2-1 victory.

“We were fortunate enough on the day to claim all three points and it was a vastly-improved performance, commitment wise," said Abrahams.

“The test now remains to deliver as a group on a more regular basis.”
