ORGANISERS of the Harwich Festival have revealed the weekly live music events which are set to take place between now and through to September.
The exciting events will take place every Saturday from noon at the Cliff Park Bandstand and Orwell Place on the third Saturday of evening month.
Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, all of the events are free of charge for residents and visitors alike.
Here are the events on offer:
- May 4 - Quayside Harmony at Cliff Park Bandstand
- May 11 - Harwich Village Band, West Valley Choir & Leading Lights Morris at Cliff Park Bandstand
- May 18 - Live Entertainment at the new Artisan Market at Orwell Place
- May 25 - Poetry in the Park at Cliff Park Bandstand
- June 1 -Open Jam Session with Ruth Anderson at Cliff Park Bandstand
- June 8 - Ukulele Festival ft Dovercourt Ukes & Friends at Cliff Park Bandstand
- June 15 - Live Entertainment at the new Artisan Market at Orwell Place
- June 22 - Harwich Festival of the Arts ft Colne Endeavour Band at Cliff Park Bandstand
- June 29 - Harwich Festival of the Arts ft Essex Rocks at Cliff Park Bandstand
Harwich Festival 2024 will take place from June 20 to June 30 with author and musician Tom Kitching holding a pre-festival event on June 16 at 2pm.
