The next exhibition at North House Gallery will focus on the works of Fergus Hare.
The display, open from April 20 to May 25, will be the artist's third solo exhibition at the gallery.
North House Gallery, in Manningtree, will also welcome visitors for private viewings on Saturday, April 20 from 2pm to 6pm.
It will feature three dozen paintings in acrylic on canvas, linen or paper.
The collection includes a series of three new paintings of the moon, showcasing the persistence of his passion for the cosmos, first displayed in his 2017 show, Cosmic Matters.
However, the bulk of new works take inspiration from his second show in 2021 which featured crowd, snow and beach scenes characterised by a sense of mystery and lack of specificity.
Mr Hare said: "The identity of the people and places in my paintings now, mostly, are not important, and I want them to have a certain ambiguity.
"I like to think about things in relation to the cosmos.
"I think that when my work is viewed as a whole, then I can see that there might appear to be lots of things going on, but to me it’s all one thing."
