A MUSIC quiz is being held to raise funds for a family resource centre in Harwich.
The Harwich Society Quiz Team runs monthly general knowledge quiz nights at the Royal Oak in Dovercourt to raise funds for the Harwich Society.
They also run music quiz nights each year for other causes and the first music quiz of 2024 is in aid of the Ark Centre.
Lynsey and Garry Calver are putting the quiz together and it will comprise 100 pieces of popular music from the 1960s to present day.
All the teams have to do is identify the artist.
The quiz will be held in the Royal Oak on Monday, February 12, starting at 8pm for teams of up to eight people at £2 per head.
Mr Calver said: “We were sorry to hear that the Ark Centre was having problems as its work is so important to Harwich.
“It’s fantastic how everyone has rallied round to help and this fundraising music quiz is the Harwich Society’s way of showing its support.
“I’m sure it is going to be a lot of fun.”
