A NEW group will focus on the history and culture of Harwich as they look to drive tourism to the town.
Representatives from businesses, councils and organisations around the area will showcase all there is to offer under one new and unified brand.
The group is chaired by Paul Milsom, owner of the Pier Hotel, and includes Tendring Council, Harwich Town Council, The Harwich Society, Harwich Festival of Arts and The Mayflower Project.
The brand, named Harwich, has so far featured the commissioning of a promotional video and the design of a new logo - based on the upcoming 400th anniversary Mayflower voyage.
