A DOVERCOURT primary school has retained its good rating by Ofsted.

Following its latest inspection in December Chase Lane Primary School has been given the ‘good’ status across the board.

Leadership and management, behaviour and safety of pupils, quality of teaching, achievement of pupils and early years provision were all recognised as being good.

The report said: “The headteacher and acting headteacher, ably supported by senior leaders, provide principled and focused leadership.

“This has ensured that teaching is good and pupils achieve well.”
