WORK has been carried out to spruce up 30-year-old shapes on Dovercourt seafront.
Tendring Council’s open space rangers cleared up the figures on Dovercourt seafront which depict a boat, a bird, a buoy, a fish, a yacht and an anchor after a request from a resident.
The community payback team then repainted the nautical shapes which are set into the cliff face.
Communications manager Nigel Brown said: “They had become rather dull but now stand out and can be seen from off the coast.
“We were pleased to be able to respond to the resident’s request in this instance and it has certainly made a difference to that area of the seafront.”
