THOUSANDS of seadogs arrived on Harwich Quay for the annual Sea Festival.
Organised by the Harwich and Dovercourt Rotary Club, Harwich RNLI and the Harwich Harbour Board, a range of stalls and activities lined the roads to raise money for various local charities.
Along with live music throughout the day, duck racing, and a tug boat display, the magnificent Sea King helicopter swooped down in front of the awe-struck crowds to perform an imitation rescue.
There was also a stunning array of Rolls Royces lined up for visitors to admire.
The festival was opened by mayor Alan Todd, Rotary Club president John Wade and a Henry VIII impersonator provided by Trinity House.
Mr Wade said: “As far as I am concerned it went wonderfully."
